My current project aims to investigate sugarcane and energy-cane plants overexpressing the SHINE transcription factor, in order to understand its molecular mechanisms in promoting biomass production and improving drought tolerance. This research contributes to developing more resilient, high-yielding crops with applications in sustainable agriculture and bioenergy.
