Master’s Student – Genetics and Plant Breeding Program

University of São Paulo

I am a biologist with a background in molecular biology and genetics, with experience in functional analyses of plant–pathogen interactions. My current research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between sugarcane and the biotrophic fungus Sporisorium scitamineum , including the structural and functional characterization of candidate effector proteins and their interactions with plant proteins.
